Itinerary -
Day01:
Check into the camp & relax in the beautiful environs. Post lunch we will drive up to Srikot/Srinagar and after a briefing on rafting techniques by the instructors we will raft down till the camp. This is a 15 kms long stretch and has class II+ rapids. This is great for beginners and for a good warm up run for something more difficult. En route we will halt at our ACTION BEACH in Maletha, surely one of the finest, and indulge in host of water activities like Duckie rides (Kayaking on inflatable boats), river swimming under watchful eyes of the instructors, body surfing, cliff jumping & cataraft rides. After enjoying the water activities we raft down till the camp. Evening one can do one’s own thing at the camp. Late evening enjoy bonfire & dinner
Day 02:
Today after breakfast you will raft for about 25 kms from the camp till Devprayag. This section has Class II – III rapids and goes through a nice gorge section with plenty of opportunities for swimming & surfing. Get back to the camp for lunch and spend the evening your way. You will have lots of activity options so if you are up to it get it touch with the manager. Late evening enjoy bonfire & dinner
Day 03:
The excitement continues with rafting on the holy Ganga. After breakfast we will drive down to Marine drive/Shivpuri (2 hrs) and from there raft down till Rishikesh through a section having class II – IV rapids. This is almost a 25 kms (Marine drive down)/16 (Shivpuri down) section. We do the famous ‘Golf Course’ & ‘Roller Coaster’ rapids along with a series of other rapids. We will finish our rafting by about 2 - 3 o’clock at Rishikesh. Change into fresh clothes (changing tents will be put up) have the packed lunch which is provided and continue with your onwards journey.

How to Reach
By Road: Delhi – Meerut bypass – Muzaffarnagar bypass – Roorkee – Haridwar – Rishikesh – Shivpuri – Devprayag – Jayalgarh
By Air: The Jolly Grant Airport (Dehradun) is the nearest airport and is connected by daily flights from Delhi. The drive from the airport to the lodge would take about 3 – 3.5 hrs.
By Rail: The nearest railhead to the camp is Haridwar. There are a number of trains that run between Delhi and Haridwar. The drive from Haridwar to the camp will take 3 – 3.5 hrs
Expected Weather
In the period Feb – Apr day time is going to be warm and very pleasant. The water is going to be moderately cold and extremely inviting. So you might end up spending more time off the boat than on it. Evenings are going to be moderately cold in Mar & Apr and cold in Feb. Night temperature will be around 17 -20 deg Celsius in Mar - Apr & around 12 – 15 deg Celsius in Feb so come prepared with some winter clothing
In May & June day time is going to be quite warm (33 – 38 deg Celsius). While rafting or indulging in any other water activity one will not feel too much of discomfort. Evenings at the camp can be slightly uncomfortable in June and are normally fine in the month of May. One will surely need a fan in the tents and dining area.
In the period Oct to December day time is going to be warm and pleasant if the sun is out, which mostly is around this time. The water is going to be cold but not freezing cold. A dip in the river is going to initially feel cold but couple of dips and you will start enjoying the water. Evenings are going to be moderately cold in Oct & Nov and cold in December. With a bonfire next to you it is going to be an enjoyable experience. December the night temperature can go down to about 3 – 5 deg Celsius so come prepared with some winter clothing. In Oct – Nov period night temperature will be around 10 – 15 deg Celsius and you will need protection from the cold
